STAFF REPORT
Because of the interest of the citizens in the La Plaza Park area and the activities
that occur in this park, Councilwomen Estrada requested that estimates be made for
items needing attention in the park.
City forces will do the installation work. The painting of kisko and light standards
and the wrought iron fence around the statue annual flowerbed will be by contract.
The department staff recommends approval of this project, as it will enhance the
use and safety of the park for the entire wests ide and others from outside the area
who frequent this park.
