STAFF REPORT
Because of the interest of the citizens in the Horine Park area and the activity of
children in the park, Councilman Strickler requested design and estimates for a tot lot
to be installed on the Waterman Avenue side of Horine Park. After review of plans and
cost figures, the project was approved.
City forces will install the curb and sand for the play area and play equipment will be
installed by the vendor.
The Department staff recommends approval of this project as it will enhance the recrea-
tional activity of the park by providing a play area for the many children of the neigh-
borhood and others from outside the area who frequent the park for picnicking.
