ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. MC-S01 ENTITLED IN PART "ORDINANCE . . . IMPOSING A 120-DAY
MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS. . . ",
EXEMPTING LOTS FRONTING ON THE WEST SIDE OF "E" STREET FROM THE
MORATORIUM AREA, AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. MC-S01 Section 2 is amended to
read as follows:
"Section 2. Study Area Defined. The study area consists of
that area bounded on the east by"E' Street (except lots and
parcels fronting on the west side of 'E' Street), on the north by
Rialto Avenue, on the west by the 1-215 Freeway, and on the
south by Mill Street, in the City of San Bernardino, which area
is also included in the Central City S?uth Redevelopment Project
Area."
SECTION 3. Urgency. This ordina~ce is an urgency measure
for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health or
safety. Provided that it is adopted by a S/7ths vote of the
Council, this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval. The facts constituting the urgency are
set forth in Section 1.
