ynopsis of Previous Council action:
3/6/86 The Legislative Review Committee recommended adoption
of an ordinance repealing Chapter 8.75 of the San
Bernardino Municipal Code pertaining to auxiliary and
private alarm systems.
Recommended motion:
Waive further first reading of ordinance and layover for final
adoption.

STAFF REPORT
Chapter 8.75 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code Covers the require-
ments of the old Municipal Fire Alarm System (street alarm boxes),
which was removed from service several years ago. Since we no longer
have such a system nor plan to reinstall one, the above section is no
longer applicable and I recommend that it be repealed.
