BID SPEC: F-86-7
The proposed purchase is for Two New 1986 3/4 Ton Pick-up Trucks With Utility.Bodies -
Category I; Two New Std 1986 3/4 Ton Pick-up Trucks - Category II. (Category I - Public
Buildings & Parks) (Category II - Public Services/Street)
These vehicles are to be utilized in daily operations by the Public Buildings Department
(Category I) the Parks, Rec. & Comm. Services Department (Category I) and the Public
Services Department (Category II).
At the request of these departments and in co-ordination with the Equipment Superin-
tendent, appropriate specifications were prepared, published and furnished to ares
suppliers. The following is a summary fof bids received.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO TOM BELL
CHEVROLET FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF TWO NEW 1986 3/4 TON PICK-UP
TRUCKS WITH UTILITY BODIES CONSISTING OF: CATEGORY I - 2 EACH - TWO NEW
1986 3/4 TON PICK-UP TRUCKS WITH UTILITY BODIES TO BE UTILIZED BY THE
PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION NO. F-86-7.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER-
NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Tom Bell Chevrolet Co. is the lowest and best bidder
for the furnishing and delivery of Two New 1986 3/4 Ton Pick-up Trucks With
Utility Bodies in accordance with Specification No. F-86-7, consisting of
2 each of Category I at a total amount of $25,609.60; pursuant to this
determination. the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to
issue a purchase order for said two new 1986 3/4 ton pick-up trucks with
utility bodies to said lowest and best bidder; such award shall only be
effective upon the issuanace of a purchase order by the Purchasing Agent;
and all other bids therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
meeting thereof, held on the
