The proposed purchase is for One New One Ton Truck With Service Body And 25 Foot
Man-Lift, to be utilized in daily operations by the Public Buildings Department.
At the request of the departments and in co-ordination with the Equipment Superin-
tendent, appropriate specifications were prepared, published and furnished to area
equipment suppliers. Bids were publicly opened and declared on February 12, I9B6.
The following is a summary of bids received.

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Equipment Superintendent and Director
of Public Buildings who concur, that the bid of California Truck Equipment Co., Inc.
meets specifications and requirements. It is therefore recommended that the bid be
accepted for contract. The amount of $32,500.00 was included in the 1985/86 Budget for
this equipment.

TRUCK EQUIPMENT CO., INC. FOR TUE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE NEW ONE TON
3 TRUCK WITH SERVICE BODY AND 25 FOOT MAN LIFT TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC
BUILDINGS/STREET LIGHTING DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN 8ER-
NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

7 SECTION 1. California Truck Equipment Co., Inc. is the lowest and best
8 bidder for the furnishing and delivery of One New One Ton Truck With Service
9 Body and 25 Foot Man Lift in accordance with Bid Specification F-86-5 for the
]0 total amount of $28,523.84; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing
II Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said
12 One New One Ton Truck With Service Body And 25 Foot Man Lift to said lowest
13 and best bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a
14 purchase order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor are
15 hereby rejected.
