Synopsis of Previous Council action:
In 1984, a lease agreement was entered into with Mr. Robe
for free office space at 4222 N. Sierra Way, for utilizat
Police Community Service Office.
Resolution #8494
In 1985, another lease agreement was entered into with Mr
Whiteside for lease of office space at $245 per month.
Recommended motion:
That the lease renewal at 4222 N. Sierra Way, at a cost 0
month for the term of lease, be approved and the Chief of
authorized to proceed with the renewal and operation of t
Community Service Office. located on site.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO LEASE WITH
ROBERT WHITESIDE CONTINUING THE LEASE OF PREMISES LOCATED AT 4222
NORTH SIERRA WAY FOR A COMMUNITY CENTER FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
OR FOR ANY. OTHER LAWFUL PUBLIC PURPOSE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City
a Second Amendment to Lease with Robert Whiteside continuing the
Lease of premises located at 4222 North Sierra Way for a
community center for the Police Department or fOr any other
lawful public purpose, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as though fully
set forth at length.

SECOND AMENDMENT TO LEASE
(4222 North Sierra Way)
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO LEASE is entered into between
ROBERT WHITESIDE ("Landlord") and the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
("City"), a municipal corporation.
The parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Recitals.

(a) Landlord and City entered into a lease effective April
1, 1985 (the "Lease"), and a First Amendment thereto, relating to
10 the use by City of certain premises located at 4222 North Sierra
11 Way in the City of San Bernardino for use:as a community center
12 for the Police Department, or any other lawful public purposes.
