STAFF REPORT
Article 12 of the brand new Mid Management MOU now details
under what circumstances physical examinations are and are
not payable in the Mid Management unit. The Council has
previously (1984) set a maximum limit on voluntary annual
physical examination reimbursements for Management/Confi-
dential employees. Thus Resolution 6433, Section 12,
Subsection C needs to be amended to (1) update - the ceiling
amount reimbursed to $175 for Management/Confidential
employees and (2) delete reference to Mid Management
employees.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 6433 ENTITLED IN PART "A RESOLUTION . . . CREATING AND
ESTABLISHING POSITIONS FOR THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO"; AND AMENDING THE PROVISIONS FOR ANNUAL PHYSICAL
EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL
EMPLOYEES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution No. 6433 Section TWELVE Subsection (c)
is amended to read:
"(c) An annual physical examination is voluntary for
management and confidential employees as identified in Resolution
No. 10584, including the classifications of Fire Chief, Police
Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Assistant Police Chief and Police
Captain. Upon presentation of the bill from the examining
physician for such a voluntary annual physical exam for an
employee listed above, the City shall pay an amount not to exceed
one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175.00) or the amount of the
bill, whichever is less, during any fiscal year.
The City shall pay all of the medical fees for a physical
examination of said employees when such examination is required by
the City after an original employment physical examination."
