From time to time the Redevelopment Agency and the City have allocated and confirmed the availability of 125 parking spaces to the Pacific Federal Savings Building now known as the Pacific First Bank Building. The current owner, Fred C. Sands, is selling the building and the new owners want to be sure that the parking that has been available to the building for many years remains available. It is therefore recommended that the resolution be adopted to continue the availability of 125 parking spaces for the Pacific First Bank Building. . . 7S.0264 . 10 11 12 13 14 . 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 . 28 . . 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 3 4 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ALLOCATING 125 UNDESIGNATED PARKING SPACES IN THE FIVE-LEVEL PARKING STRUCTURE FOR PACIFIC FIRST BANK BUILDING AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 84-366. 5 WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San 6 Bernardino did on January 18, 1973, adopt Resolution No. 2658 7 providing for allocation of 125 undesignated parking spaces within the five-level parking structure to Santa Fe Federal 8 9 Savings and Loan Association, the predecessor to Pacific Federal Plaza Savings and Loan Association, and WHEREAS, on September 10, 1984, the Mayor and Common Council did adopt Resolution No. 84-366 concurring in the allocation of such spaces, as provided for in the lease agreement between the City and the Redevelopment Agency relating to use of the five-level parking structure, and WHEREAS, the Fred C. Sands, the current owner of the building, now known as the Pacific First Bank Building, desires to transfer such building, and WHEREAS, the infusion of new owners into the downtown area will be beneficial for the citizens of San Bernardino, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. 125 undesignated parking spaces in the five- level parking structure located adjacent to City Hall are hereby allocated to the Pacific First Bank Building, for use of the occupants of that building without charge except as specified below, which allocation shall be effective solely in conjunction with the ownership, use and operation of said buildi~g, which DAB/ses/Pacific.res March 6, 1991 1 I I . . 1 . . allocation shall not be separately transferable or assignable.
