RE: Request by Karl and Donna Tolp for a refund of
the $250 ~ee paid for the use of the Fiscalini field
to conduct the "Support our Troops" Rally, held on
February 3, 1991, and that Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Department return said funds to
Karl and Donna Tolp.
Mr. & Mrs. Karl Tolp of 6622 Roca Circle, San Bernardino, CA
92404, conducted a "Support our Troops" Rally on Sunday,
February 3, 1991, at the Fiscalini field. They deposited all
of the required fees with the Parks, Recreation and Community
Services Department, and have requested that the $ 250 fee
for the use of the field be refunded.

Fiscalini Field (the home of the Spirit) will be the site where the City
of San Bernardino can show its support for our American troops.
A legal and lawful support rally. hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Karl Tolp
and the Spirit Baseball Club. will be held from 1 p.m. til 3 p.m.
Meet at Perris Hill Park at 12:~~O p.m. for a ~Patriotism Walk" to
Fiscalini Field. Bring your flags and signs to show your support.
~ Mayor Bob Holcomb. of San Bemardirw. will
address the rally.
~ Singers. guest speakers. The Elks Lodge.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1744. the San
Bemardirw-Riverside Blood Bank. and many
others will be showing their support.

The San Bernardino Spirit Baseball Club gives our full support to Mr. & Mrs.
Karl Tolp In their the efforts to host a "Patriotism Walk" to be held on the 3rd day
of February 1991.
This walk Is not a "Pro-War" demonstration, but a way for the community of
San Bernardino to show the men & women currently serving In the Persian Gulf
that they have not and will not be forgotten as our brothers and sisters were In Viet
Nam.
In addition, the San Bernardino Spirit Baseball Club will assist Mr. & Mrs.
Karl Tolp In securing funds to conduct a legal and lawful assembly and set aside
proceeds for the American Red Cross, and local organizations that help In the
needs of families and loved one's left behind.
We are urging the governing bodies of San Bernardino to clear the way for
such a humane and noble cause as the "Patriotism Walk" hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Karl
Tolp and fully supported by the San Bernardino Spirit Baseball Club.
