STAFF REPORT
The markers will be in 3 different sizes. 16" X 26" for infants, 18" X 30" for single's
and 20" X 42" for double's.
The markers will not requi re a cement border and wi 11 be one pi ece of grani te with a 3"
frosted border.
The prices are based by the size of the marker, the type of granite and color used.
Listed below are the proposed charges for grave markers:

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 84-292 TO ESTABLISH THE CHARGES FOR THE SALE OF MONUMENTS OR
GRAVE MARKERS BY THE CEMETERY COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of Resolution No. 84-292 is hereby
amended to read:
.SECTION 6. Three styles of monuments or grave markers are
offered for sale by the City. Group 3 consists of the basic
letter style of inscription, Group 2 consists of a deeper cut in
letter style and Group 1 consists of the deepest cut in letter
style. Charges for the sale of monuments or grave markers are
hereby established as follows:

COLOR 16. x 20. 18. x 30. 20. x 42.

For designs in Group 2 add $48.00 to the above prices. For
designs in Group 1 add $68.00 to the above prices. The markers
will not require a cement border and will be one piece of granite
with a 3-inch frosted border.

SECTION 2. Section 7 of Resolution No. 84-292 is hereby
amended to read:
"SECTION 7. The cost for flower vases is hereby established
at $10.00 per flower vase."
SECTION 3. Section 8 is hereby added. to Resolution No. 84-
292 to read:
"SECTION 8. Resolution No. 81-237, and all subsequent
amendments thereto are hereby repealed."
