On the same date, the Resol ution of Intention, was approved. As required by law, the portion proposed for vacation was posted by this office on April 29, 1986, and the Resolution was published on the same da te. In the opinion of this Division, there is no further necessity for a portion of "F" Street, North of Mill, either for present or prospective street purposes. Therefore, we recommend the vacation on the basis of the following Findings of Fact: 1. The above portion of the street has been determined by the Planning Department and the Department of Publ ic Works to be of no further necessity to the general public. a) The street is only a paper street and does not exist on the ground. b) Traffic flow in the area does not warrant a street in this area as yet, however, the area is located in the Central City South Study Area and alternative locations for this street are bei ng looked at. c) The General Plan would have treated this as a local street which is not designated thereon. Therefore, this proceeding will not be in conflict with the General Plan. 2. By virtue of the posting and publication of the proposal, either this office, nor the City Clerk's Office, has received any written protests against the vacation as of this date. 3. All of the interested City Department Heads and Utility Companies were notified of the proposal and all have given their respective consent. No special requirements have been placed upon the proponents relative to the proceedings which would require an inspection of the area prior to the adoption of the Resolution Ordering. Therefore, we have attached the said Resolution Ordering the vacation for your action. 2 75-0264 - . 6 J: --,a'--[l 1J 11';:-' :Ii .' I : .;--- 1 ". ,., '. l3 '.
