Synopsis of Previous Council action:
2-17-86 -- Work on Phase lA, Zone A, in accordance with Plan No. 6667, approved
and accepted and final payment authorized at the expiration of the
1 ien period.
3-04-86 -- Resolution No. 86-76 adopted authorizing execution of Agreement for
development of the Seccombe Lake State Urban Recreation Area.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for completion of Phase lA, Zone B,
in accordance with Plan No. 6878, be approved and the
Director of Public Works/City Engineer authorized to
advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans and specifications for the completion of Phase IA have been
prepared by the Architect, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
This project will include restoration of the adobe building, construction of
roof for pavilian, installation of irrigation, landscaping and sidewalks in
Zone B (east side of lake), and construction of tot lot.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:

The tot lot equipment will be included as an additive alternate, in
the event the bids come in above the estimate. These items could be in-
stalled by City Forces at a later date.
The Development Agreement stipulates that the State will provide up
to $988,OOO from the 1984 Bond Act Funds to finance the costs incurred for
completing Phase I-A. This Agreement was signed by the State on 3-27-86,
which means the funds are available.
We recommend the plans be approved and authorization granted to
advertise for bids.
