STAFF REPORT
Ordinance No. MC-502 adding Chapter 5.82 to the San
Bernardino Municipal Code to require permits to operate
certain businesses within the City of San Bernardino was
adopted on March 3, 1986. Section 5.82.040 of said
ordinance provided that at the time of filing applications,
the applicant must pay an application investigation fee in
an amount set by resolution.
At the Council meeting of March 17, 1986, the Mayor and
Common Council adopted a policy whereby there will be no
additional charge for an operator's permit beyond the price
of a business license. It is necessary, therefore, to amend
Chapter 5.82 to remove the provisions relating to an
investigation fee. The attached ordinance accomplishes that
purpose.
