Change Order No. One approved to authori ze the Contractor to furnish steel piling material and weld to each side of steel pipe web, at an increase in the contract price of $689.09, from $490,777.60 to $491,466.69. Change Order No. Two approved to authori ze the Contractor to perform all work necessary to construct grouted rip rap protection as shown on Plan No. 6653, on a time and materials basis, at an estimated increase in the contract price of $44,212.60, from $491,466.69 to $535,679.29. 2 -' , CITeoF SAN BERNARDI. - REQUE. FOR COUNCIL AC,.N STAFF REPORT Change Order No. Two was a requirement by the S.B.C.F.C.D. to provide 60 feet of grouted rip-rap slope protection for the channel of San Timoteo Creek both up and down stream of the New Bridge. An estimated cost of the slope protection was $44,212.00. Approximately $20,000.00 of this estimate was attributed to the grouting of the rip-rap. Subsequent meetings with the Flood Control District resulted in eliminating the requirement of grouting the rip-rap. 75.0264
