CITY OF SAN BERreRDINO - REQUEST .R COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
The City is preparing to expand Pioneer Cemetary which lies North of 7th Street
and West of Waterman Avenue. Prior to proposed new construction. Waterman Avenue
will be widened and a new handicap ramp will be installed at the Northwest corner
of 7th Street and Waterman Avenue. The City of San Bernardino currently owns the
property.
The attached Resolution establishes a boundary and widens the right of way for
this portion of Waterman Avenue between 7th Street and 8th Street. and designates
the City property for street and highway purposes.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING A BOUNDARY
FOR A PORTION OF THE WEST SIDE OF WATERMAN AVENUE BETWEEN 7111 STREET AND 6111
STREET AND DEDICATION OF SAME FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby establish a boundary for a portion of the West side of
Waterman Avenue. between 7th Street and 6th Street. described as follows:
Those portions of the South 200 feet of Lot 6. Block 3.
Rancho San Bernardino. in the County of San Bernardino.
State of California. as per plat recorded in Book 7 of
Maps, Page 2, records of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence
North along the East line thereof. a distance of 200 feet
to the North line of the South 200 feet of said Lot 6;
thence West along said North line, a distance of 13.75
feet; thence South and parallel with the East line of
said Lot 6, a distance of 179.25 feet; thence Southwest
in a straight line. a distance of 30.98 feet. to a point
in the South line of said Lot 6. said point being West
thereon, a distance of 36.75 feet from the Point of
Beginning; thence East along said South line. a distance
of 36.75 feet to the Point of Beginning.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San
SECTION 2.
Bernardino hereby dedicate for street and highway purposes. all of the above
described portion of the West side of Waterman Avenue between 7th Street and
6th Street.
SECTION 3.
That the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino
26 shall cause a certified copy of the Resolution to be recorded in the office
27 of the County Recorder of the County of San Bernardino.
