RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DESIGNATING CHECK SIGNERS AND
COUNTERSIGNERS FOR CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY/ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY CHECKS, VOUCHERS AND WIRE
TRANSFERS, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 5537.

Authorized Check Silmers
On March 2, 1998, the Community Development Commission designating Mayor Judith
Valles, who serves as the Chairperson of the Commission, as the principal signatory of
Agency checks, vouchers and wire transfers, with Commission member Norine Miller, as
the Vice Chairwoman of the Community Development Commission, designated as an
alternate Signatory to Chairperson Valles. All Agency checks, vouchers and wire
transfers require the second signature of Timothy C. Steinhaus, Secretary of the
Commission, with Susan M. Morals, Assistant to the Agency Administrator, as the
alternate signatory to Mr. Steinhaus.
Now, it is proposed that Development Director Ronald Winkler replace Secretary
Timothy C. Steinhaus as second signatory for Agency checks, vouchers, purchase orders
and wire transfers. All other signatories and appointments would remain the same at this
time.
Based upon the foregoing, staff recommends adoption of the form motion.

RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DESIGNATING CHECK SIGNERS AND COUNTERSIGNERS
FOR CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY CHECKS, VOUCHERS AND WIRE TRANSFERS, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION
NO. 5537.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5537 adopted March 2, 1998,
designated that Agency checks, vouchers and wire transfers will be
signed by the following: Chairper~on Judith Valles, who serves as
Chairperson of the Community Development Commission of the City of
San Bernardino, or by Community Development Commission Vice Chairwoman
Norine Miller; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5537 designated that Agency
Checks, vouchers and wire transfers will be countersigned by one of
the following: Secretary of the Con~ission, Timothy C. Steinhaus, or
by the Assistant to the Agency Administrator, Susan M. Morales; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission now desires
to provide for a different signer for Agency checks, vouchers and
wire transfers;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
All City of San Bernardino Redevelopment
Agency or Economic Development Agency checks, vouchers and wire
transfers shall be signed by Chairperson Judith Valles, who serves
as Chairperson of the Community Development Commission of the City
of San Bernardino, or by Vice Chairwoman Norine Miller.
SECTION 2.
All City of San Bernardino Redevelopment
Agency or Economic Development Agency checks, vouchers and wire
transfers shall be countersigned by the Director of Development,
