Staff Report
Subject:
Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino authorizing an
increase to maintenance contract with Imagine Systems of San Bernardino for desktop/printer
replllrs.
Background:
This annual maintenance contract provides essential PCs hardware replacement parts for all
citywide departments. In addition to hardware replacement, this maintenance contract also
provides essential maintenance for all citywide laser and desktop printers in and out of warranty.
The cost of the existing maintenance contract is $24,500, PO #207200. We have reached this
limit and have incurred additional maintenance requirements that exceed this amount. It is
anticipated that an additional $4,000 will be needed through the end of the fiscal year.
The $4,000 can be transferred from IT fund 679-251-5502 (professional/Contractual) to 679-
251-5172 (Equipment Maintenance) to accommodate this requirement.

SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE TO MAINTENANCE

BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1. That Imagine Systems is a local sole source provider of maintenance
services for citywide laser printer maintenance and replacement parts.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council authorize an increase to PO
207200 in the amount of $4,000 to the maintenance contract for desktoplprinter repairs with
Imagine Systems of San Bernardino.
