Re: Special Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Mayor W. R. Holcomb has called
a Special Meeting of the Common Council for 3:30 p.m., Monday,
September 12, 1983. Said Council Meeting will be held in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San Bernar-
dino, California.
The purpose for which this meeting has been called is to
adopt a resolution authorizing the acceptance of entry into a
subgrant agreement with the State of California, Job Training
Partnership Office.

The Special Meeting of the Mayor and Common Council of the
City of San Bernardino was called to order by Mayor Holcomb on
Monday, September 12, 1983, at 3:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers
of City Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San Bernardino, California.
ROLL CALL
Roll Call was taken by the City Clerk with the following be-
ing present: Mayor Holcomb; Council Members Reilly, Quiel,
Frazier, Strickler; City Attorney Prince, City Clerk Clark, City
Administrator Matzer. Absent: Council Members Castaneda,
Hernandez, Marks.
RES. 83-306 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNAR-
DINO AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRY INTO A SUB-
GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, JOB
TRAINING PARTNERSHIP OFFICE.
The City Clerk read the title of the resolution.
Marisa Parnell, Executive Director of the San Bernardino
Employment and Training Administration, explained the purpose of
the resolution and the urgency of the matter.
Council Member Quiel made a motion, seconded by Council Mem-
ber Frazier and unanimously carried, that further reading of the
resolution be waived and said resolution be adopted.
Resolution No. 83-306 was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Council Members Reilly, Quiel, Frazier, Strickler. Noes:
None. Absent: Council Members Castaneda, Hernandez, Marks.
ADJOURN MEETING
At 3:36 p.m., the meeting was adjourned.
