between the City of San Bernardino and the
San Bernardino Stampede and to a

Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
January 22, 2002:
Mayor and Common Council Adopted Resolution No. 2002-29 and
Resolution No. 2002-30 relating to an Amendment to Lease between the
City of San Bernardino and the San Bernardino Stampede and to a
Memorandum of Understanding between the City of San Bernardino, San
Bernardino Stampede, Inc., and Arrowhead Central Credit Union,
respectively.
Recommended motion:
MOTION A: That the Mayor and Common Council reconsider the actions taken January 22, 2002
adopting Resolution No. 2002-29 and Resolution No. 2002-30.
MOTION B: That Resolution No. 2002-29 and Resolution No. 2002-30 be readopted.

S3: Reconsideration ofthe adoption of Resolution No. 2002-29 and
Resolution No. 2002-30 relating to an Amendment to Lease
between the City of San Bernardino and the San Bernardino
Stampede and to a Memorandum of Understanding between
the City of San Bernardino, San Bernardino Stampede, Inc.,
and Arrowhead Central Credit Union, respectively.
On January 22, 2002, the Mayor and Common Council adopted Resolution No. 2002-29
entitled "Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council ofthe City of San Bernardino approving
the terms and provisions of the Amendment to Lease between the City of San Bernardino and the
San Bernardino Stampede, Inc., and authorizing the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino to execute
said document." At the same meeting, the Mayor and Common Council adopted Resolution No.
2002-30 entitled "Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino
approving the terms and provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of San
Bernardino, San Bernardino Stampede, Inc., and Arrowhead Central Credit Union and authorizing
the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino to execute said document." Subsequent to both resolutions
being adopted, a procedural issue arose and it is now necessary to clear the record. Accordingly, we
request that the Mayor and Common Council approve the following two motions:
MOTION A: That the Mayor and Common Council reconsider the actions taken
January 22, 2002 adopting Resolution No. 2002-29 and Resolution
No. 2002-30.
MOTION B: That Resolution No. 2002-29 and Resolution No. 2002-30 be readopted.
