STAFF REPORT In 96/97, the City had a time and materials maintenance purchase order with the County of San Bernardino radio communication center with a not to exceed amount of $24,000.00 for routine repair of non-public safety 800Mhz radios, public safety sirens, vehicle wiring, equipment mounts and numerous miscellaneous Public Safety gear. In 96/97, there was also a not to exceed $12,000.00 purchase order with the County for "removals" and "installs". Police and Fire take retiring vehicles to the repair center for removal of radios, equipment mounts, MDT's, vehicle wiring, etc. They also take new vehicles to the County for installs of the same type of equipment and wiring. Repair orders created at the repair centers throughout 96/97 often mixed removals and installs with other routine repairs making financial resolution of billings difficult for both the County and MIS. For 97/98, the County and MIS prefer to create a single time and materials purchase order in the not to exceed amount of $36,000.00 which allows consolidation of work performed and resulting billings, saving time and effort for both agencies. 97/98 Annual Time & Materials Purchase Order amoqnt NOT TO EXCEED $36,000.00 75-0264
