June, 1996 - Allocation of $500,000, in 1996/97 Gas Tax Budget,
approved.

Recommended motion:
That the plans for rehabilitation of pavement on Hospitality Lane,
fron "E" Street to Waternan Avenue, and Lena Road, from Mill Street
to Rialto Avenue, in accordance with Plan No. 9655, be approved;
and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to
advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for rehabilitation of pavement, on the following
listed streets, have been completed, and the project is ready to
be advertised for bids.
Street
Limits
Hospitality Lane
Lena Road
"E" St. to Waterman Avenue
Mill St. to Rialto Avenue
The project consists, in general, of repairing failed
sections, cold milling, and installing either regular asphalt
concrete or rubberized asphalt pavement.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:

Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1520) 31,962
Sub-Total $ 351,586
Contingencies (15%) :!: 52,414
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 404,000
All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
the $500,000 allocated in the 1996/97 Gas Tax Budget, under
Account No. 126-369-5504-1520.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
