Synopsis of Previous Council action:
05-01-89 - - Resolution No. 89-119 adopted awarding a contract to
Inland Overhead Door Company, for the low bid price of
$27,721.00.
06-19-89 - - Change Order No. One approved, to authorize bringing
the overhead doors up to good working condition, for
an increase of $9,453.75 in the contract price.
07-02-90 - - Change Order No. Two approved, to extend the contract
for a one-year period, from 7-1-90 to 6-30-91, at no
adjustment in the contract prices.
04-24-91 - - Change Order No. 3 approved, to extend the contract
for a one-year period, from 7-1-91 to 6-30-92, at no
adjustment to the contract prices.

04-06-92 Change Order No. 4 approved, to extend the contract
for a one-year period, from 7-1-92 to 6-30-93, at a
reduction of $8,516.00 in the contract price.
03-22-93 - - Resolution No. 93-68 adopted authorizing execution
of an amendment to the contract to extend the term
for a period of 1 year, from 7-1-93 to 6-30-94, at
no increase in the contract price; and to incor-
porate 12 screens of Carousel Mall into the
contract.
04-29-94 -- Resolution No. 94-126 adopted authorizing execution
of an anendnent to the contract to extend the tern
for a period of 1 year, from 7-1-94 to 6-30-95, at
no increase in the contract price.

FIFTH AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT
This Contract Amendment, made and entered into this
day of , 19_, by and between the. City of San
Ber~ardino, a Municipal Corporation, 300 North "D" Street, San
Bernardino, California 92418 (City) and INLAND OVERHEAD DOOR
COMPANY, A California Corporation, 12401 South La Cadena Drive,
Colton, California, 92324 (Contractor).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into that certain
Contract dated May 1, 1989, relating to the provision of
Maintenance of Overhead Doors at Various Locations, per Plan No.
7663; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 extended the contract from
July 1, 1990, to June 30, 1991, Change Order No. 3 extended the
contract from July 1, 1991, to June 30, 1992, and Change Order
No. 4 extended the contract from July 1, 1992, to June 30, 1993;
and
WHEREAS, the amendment to contract as authorized by
Resolution No. 93-68, adopted on 3-22-93, extended the term from
7-01-93 to 6-30-94, and added 12 screens at Carousel Mall to the
contract; and Resolution No. 94-126, adopted on 4-29-94, extended
the term from 7-1-94 to 6-30-95, at no increase in the contract
price.
WHEREAS, Amendment No. Three to contract extended the
term from 7-01-95 to 6-30-96, at no increase in the contract unit
prices; and

FIFTH AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT: REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF OVERHEAD
DOORS
1 WHEREAS, Amendment No. Four to contract extended the term
2 from 7-01-96 to 6-30-97, at no increase in the contract unit
3 price; and
4 WHEREAS, the parties desire now to amend said Contract to
5 extend the term of the Contract.
6 NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree, as follows:
7 A. The Contract shall be extended for a period of one
8 year from July 1, 1997, to June 30, 1998, with no increase in the
9 contract unit prices.

B.
Except as amended herein, all other terms,
11 specifications and conditions of the original agreement and first
12 amendment shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
13 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this
14 Amendment to Contract on the day and date first above shown.
