Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On August 19, 1996, Council approved the following motion:
That the City Attorney prepare an ordinance formulating the proper language and designating
smoking areas within the structure of the ball park (open seating would be prohibited); and
that the ordinance include any future structures.
Recommended motion:
That Council approve the first reading of the above ordinance.

8.72.065 RELATING TO SMOKING AT THE SAN BERNARDINO STADIUM AND AT

DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 8.72.065 is hereby added to read as folio s:
"8.72.065. San Bernardino Stadium and Ot r Open Air
Sports Structures. Smoking is p. ohibited and is
unlawful in the open seating
Bernardino Stadium, located at .i80 South E Street,
and at all other open air sports structures. The owner
or manager of such Stadium or sports structure may
designate limited smoking areas within said Stadium or
structure, exclusive of all open seats."
1 HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was duly adopted by the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
meeting thereof, held
