known as 4532 North "F" Street, to the City's sewer systeM.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
A request has been received from Rod and Therese Lambert
for permission to connect the house at 4532 North "F" Street to
the City's sewer system. This request is based upon the County's
requirement that an attempt be made to secure permission to
connect to the City's 12-inch sewer main in the street adjoining
this property.
Section 56133 of the Government Code requires that any
connection of a County parcel to a City's sewer or water system
be approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO).
Before LAFCO will process any such request, concurrence must be
received from the serving City.
The City's Wastewater Treatment Plant has adequate
capacity to accommodate the sewage from this connection.
After approval by LAFCO, the applicants will have to
enter into a contract with the City. This contract will, in
general, grant permission for this property to connect to the
City's sewer system, subject to payment of normal connection fees
and monthly service charges.
We recommend that the City concur in the connection of
this parcel to the City's sewer system.
