Supplemental funds in the amount of $60,000 allocated
in SB 300 Fund, 1996/97 Budget.
Allocation of $195,000 in 1996/97 Storm Drain Con-
struction Fund Budget approved.
Allocation of $150,500 in 1996/97 Traffic Systems Fee
Construction Fund, for modifying traffic signals to
provide protected/permissive left turn movements,
approved.
June, 1996 - Allocation of $100,000 in A.D. #994, 1996/97 Budget
for installation of Additional street lights,

Recommended motion:
That Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Vance Corporation,
for the paveMent rehabilitation of Tippecanoe Avenue between Rt. 1-
10 and Mission Creek, in accordance with Plan No. 9459, be approved
to incorporate Additive No. 1 into the contract, for relocation of
water line facilities at an estiMated increase to the contract
price of $38,400.00, froM $523,872.00 to $562,272.00.

STAFF REPORT
Certain water distribution facilities in Tippecanoe
Avenue will have to be relocated to clear the improvements being
installed in connection with rehabilitation of the pavement
between Route 1-10 and Hospitality Lane.

At their meeting of 5-07-97, the Board of Water Commis-
sioners approved the expenditure of $38,400, to finance the cost
for relocation of their water facilities.
All costs incurred for work under Additive Alternate No.
One will be charged to Account No. 248-368-5504-7080, and billed
to the Water Department.
We recommend that Additive Alternate No. One be incor-
porated into the contract.
