(Resolution of the City of San Bernardino amending
Resolution No. 91-397 to increase the surcharge for the
recordation of nuisance abatement liens pursuant to AB
3510.)
Backqround Information:
On January 1, 1991, Assembly Bill 3510 became effective, which
authorizes the County and City of San Bernardino to recoup the fees
imposed for the recordation of nuisance abatement liens. Hence, on
September 16, 1991, the Mayor and Council adopted Resolution No.
91-397 authorizing the imposition of an $8 surcharge. The County
has increased the $8 surcharge to $9. Therefore, herein submitted
is a resolution authorizing the amendment of the surcharge.
Form Motion:
That said resolution be adopted.
