Fair Housing Proclamation
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino join other sorrounding cities
and the Inland Mediation Board to proclaim the month of April 1997 as Fair Housing Month.
Fair Housing Act
This April will commemorate the 29th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act and is marked by
numerous City Council Proclamations and also by Fair Housing workshops presented by Inland
Mediation Board. Proclaiming the month of April as Fair Housing month will promote Equal
Housing Opportunities throughout our City.
Recommendation
Based on the foregoing, staff recommends adoption of the form motion.
