Agenda Item No. . /J? 75-0262 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT SANBAG has requested the submittal of projects proposed for inclusion in the 1998/2005 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP). A RTIP is developed to promote planning among the various public agencies. In order for a project to be eligible for Federal-Aid funds, it must be included in the current RTIP. The Federal Highway Administration will review the proposed RTIP to ensure that it is fiscally constrained. The twenty-seven (27) projects proposed for inclusion in the new 1998/2005 RTIP are included in the City's recently approved Capital Improvement Program. The individual project forms are available in the City Clerk's office for review. A copy of the Financial Plan is attached for reference. We recommend that the 1998/2005 project submittals be approved and authorization granted to submit them to SANBAG. 2-27-97 75-0264 o .1:: :g ...
