STAFF REPORT
The Easter Seal Society of Inland Counties is sponsoring a Street Party on March
15. 1997 with all proceeds to benefit the Easter Seals. They have received
approval of the special events permit issued by the Chief of Police having met
all requirements. They are asking for waiver of City fees in connection with the
event. These amount to Police charges of $299.77 for personnel and $39.84 for
equipment as well as a $130 refundable deposit for barricades.

On March 15, 1997 the Easter Seal Society will be holding their Easter Seal
Street Fair. The event will start at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until
approximately 5:00 p.m. The assembly area will be at 225 E. Baseline St.,
at Quaid Harley D3vidson. A map of the event is attached.
The Traffic Office is processing the event applications and will be
forwarding the package to Risk Management when it is canplete.
THE SBPD IS COMMITTED PROVIDING:

The Easter Seal Society of the Inland Counties is requesting the City Council
to waiver all city fees for a fund raising event scheduled for Saturday, March
15, 1997. This will be a Street Party sponsored by Quaid Harley Davidson
with the proceeds of the event to benefit the Easter Seal Society.
Easter Seals is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Our services are
supported by contributions and fund raising events such as this. Your
consideration of our request is deeply appreciated.
