During plan review, in appli- cation for an encroachment permit, Cal trans personnel directed that this storm drain be abandoned. However, after construction was started, Cal trans' inspector directed that it be retained. Various items of additional work will be required in order to keep this drain in service and incorporate it into the new improvements. Removal of the existing improvements revealed several electrical and traffic signal conduits that were in conflict with the new improvements. These conduits are: 1.
