STAFF REPORT
Bids for the installation of street improvements on
Kendall Drive, west of Wagon Wheel Road at Littlefield/Shultis
Park, were opened on Tuesday, 01-07-97 at 2:00 p.m.
A total of 13 bids were received, ranging fron $35,275.00
to $50,468.00. The low bid of $35,275.00 is 24.1% under the
Engineer's Estimate of $46,468.00.
Below is the total estinated project cost, based upon the
actual low bid price.
Construction Contract $ 35,275.00
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. 7054) 4,000.00
Sub-Total $ 39,275.00
Contingencies (15%) :!: 5,925.00
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 45,200.00
An amount of $55,000.00 has been allocated under Account
No. 126-369-5504-7054, to finance the costs that will be incurred
for this project.
We recommend that a contract be awarded to the low
bidder.
