Set a public hearing for the proposed expenditures of monies allocated from the FY 03/ 04
Citizen's Option for Public Safety (COPS),
BACKGROUND
As a recipient of Citizen's Option for Public Safety (COPS) funds, the police department is
required to hold a public hearing where persons shall be given the opportunity to provide written
and oral opinions to the Mayor and Common Council, regarding the proposed expenditure of
grant funds,
FINANCIAL IMPACT
None.
RECOMMENDA nONS
That the Mayor and Common Council set a public hearing for 4:00 p.m, on Monday, November
3,2003, relative to the proposed expenditure plan for the awarded Citizen's Option for Public
Safety (COPS) funding for FY 03/04.
