Department of Housing and Urban Development (IillD), south of20'h Street in the Arden- Guthrie area. Further, staffwas authorized to consider the use of HOME Investment Partnership Act Program (HOME) funds to complete the rehabilitation work with a budget of$200,000, including contingency. The use of HOME funds for FY 1997-1998, requires an amendment of the Third Year Action Plan component of the 1995/1999 Consolidated Plan. All of the amendment procedures have been met, including meeting with the Community Development Citizen Advisory Committee on August 13 and 19, 1997, and advertising this Public Hearing in at least one local newspaper (see attached). The last steps needed to effectuate the Amendment to the Third Year Action Plan include reducing the Mobile Home Park Purchase Program (project #97-402) currently funded at $574,500, by the $200,000 needed for the 191h and Sunrise Rehabilitation Program (project #97- 405) and forwarding the amendment to BUD. Recommendation Based on the above, it is necessary and appropriate to hold a Public Hearing to consider amending the Third Year Action Plan. c;1. -it ulwk.._ RONALD .
