12/04/89 -- Authorization to proceed for change of Sphere of Influence was
granted.
Recommended motion:

That the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and the City Clerk are authorized
to proceed with the proposed annexation generally located South of Devore Road,
Southwesterly of Cajon Boulevard.

There is some tentative development in this area, which is primarily industrial. It
would be desirous and beneficial for the City to have this area within the City of. San
Bernardino City Limits. Portions of the development area are outside the City's Sphere
of Influence. On December 4, 1989, authorization to proceed was granted to extend the
City's Sphere of Influence. Proceedings for the change of the Sphere of Influence
would run con-currently with the annexation proceedings.
