STAFF REPORT
As a result of on-going development in the vicinity of
Hunts Lane, there is a need to ass~gn right-of-way to this
section of roadway between Harwick Drive and Hospitality Lane.
Therefore, we recommend that this section of Hunts Lane be
designated as a through highway from Harwick Drive to Hospitality
Lane. This action will enable the City to install stop signs at
all streets that intersect Hunts Lane, between these limits,
except for eastbound vehicles on "E" Street turning south to
Hunts Lane by the free right turn lane. The configuration of the
intersection allows the installation of a yield sign for this
movement, without adversely impacting the safe orderly movement
of traffic.
We recommend that the resolution be approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 655 ENTITLED, IN PART, "A RESOLUTION.
3 DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS OR PORTIONS THEREOF AS THROUGH
HIGHWAYS. . " ; AND PROVIDING THAT HUNTS LANE IS A THROUGH
4 HIGHWAY FROM AND INCLUDING HARWICK DRIVE NORTH TO HOSPITALITY
LANE EXCEPT FOR VEHICLES TRAVELING EASTBOUND AND TURNING
5 SOUTHBOUND ON "E" STREET.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COlflMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 655, which designates certain
streets or portions thereof as through highways, Section 1, is
amended by adding Subsection 8.4 thereto, to read,
"8.4 HUNTS LANE
From and including Harwick Drive, North to Hospitality
Lane, except vehicles traveling eastbound and turning south from
'E' Street."
