ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 821; AND ADDING A REFERENCE TO CHAPTER 5D IN THE NOTICES TO
APPEAR PROVISIONS.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 821 Section 515 is amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 515: This ordinance shall be administered and
enforced by the Animal Control Department and other authorized
personnel of City. Animal Control Technicians, authorized
employees of the Animal Control Department and other authorized
personnel of the City are hereby authorized and empowered to
arrest and issue notices to appear pursuant to the provisions of
this ordinance, relating to animals and fowls within the City,
and Section 836.5 and Chapter 5C and 5D of Part 2 Title 3
(commencing with Section 853.6) of the Penal Code of the State of
California."
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 821 Section 2500 Subsection (d)
is amended to read as follows:
U(d) The Chief Engineer of the Fire Department of the
City of San Bernardino and his designated subordinates in the
Fire Department shall enforce the provisions of this ordinance
and are authorized to perform any act, including the preparation
and issuance of written notices to appear for violation hereof,
under and pursuant to Section 836.5 and Chapter 5C and 5D of
Part 2 Title 3 (commencing with Section 853.6) of the Penal Code
of the State of California."
