WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council, having held budget hearings on June 12,
2003, June 19,2003, June 26, 2003 and June 30, 2003, desire to IlclBJ'lt the PreliftliRar)' Detail Iltldgct
forll'fe,.'2tl0T-2004 fisciiT yea!, 'llflEI to establish 2003-2004 expenditures for the City of San
Bernardino for the month of July only, at one-twelfth the proposed levels contained in the
Preliminary Detail Budget for the 2003-2004 fiscal year, or as needed to pay the authorized costs
incurred for the month of July, 2003 only, pending final approval ofthe 2003-2004 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council hereby
authorize the City of San Bernardino to establish 2003-2004
expenditures for the month of July only, at one-twelfth the proposed levels contained in the
Preliminary Detail Budget for the 2003-2004 fiscal year, or as needed to pay the authorized costs
incurred for the month of July, 2003 only, pending final approval of the 2003-2004 budget.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect upon the date of its adoption.
