STAFF REPORT

The YMCA's Annual Children's Christmas Parade is scheduled for
Saturday, December 4, 1993. They have applied for and obtained a
parade permit from the Chief of Police and are requesting co-
sponsorship and a waiver of fees for departmental costs associated
with the event. These costs are as follows:
Police (personnel & equipment)
Traffic Eng. (barricades/labor)
$ 483.33
$1,285.00
Public Services (street sweeping)
TOTAL
$1,455.60
$3,223.93
It is recommended that the above request be ratified.
