STAFF REPORT
The section of 30th Street between Waterman Avenue and Belle Street is
unsafe due to the high volume of traffic along 30th Street. This section of 30th
Street has also become a location for people to park vehicles that are for sale.
This practice increases the unsafe conditions at this location.
The Crossroads Christian Fellowship church abuts this section of 30th Street.
The church has sufficient parking on its premises. Tony Lugo, City Traffic
Engineer, contacted a representative from the Crossroads Church to obtain
approval for posting "no parking" signs.
Recommended Motion:
That Development Services install "no parking" signs on the north side of 30th
Street between Waterman Avenue and Belle Street.
