WORK HISTORY: I have been employed by the San Bernardino City Unified School District
for 33 years as a teacher, vice principal and I am currently working as a program specialist in the
Elementary Instruction Office. Among my duties are:
. supporting the classroom curriculum for the elementary grades for the Visual and
Performing Arts and History-Social Science
. contracting with Arts organizations to provide services to schools, teachers and students
. instructing staff and students in Visual and Performing Arts
. supporting curriculum development in the Arts and History-Social Science
. forming and chairing committees for curriculum writing
. researching resources to enhance Arts Education in the schools
. evaluating textbooks for district adoption
. mentoring teachers in classroom instruction
. writing and editing documents for school district use
