CITY OF SAN BERN.DINO - REQUEST FA COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
There has been some increase in the traffic volume
circulation pattern at the intersection of Sheridan Road and
State Street, especially after the completion of the University
Square Retail Center located at the Southeast corner of Kendall
Drive and University Parkway.
This increase necessitated the evaluation of the traffic
control of the intersection of Sheridan Road and State Street.
Our evaluation concluded that the installation of a stop sign at
Sheridan Road would greatly improve traffic flow, as well as
reduce the possibility of right-of-way conflict.
Therefore, staff recommends that a stop sign be
installed at the Sheridan Road approach to State Street.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
Resolution No. 655, which designates certain
streets or portions thereof as through highways,
Section 1, is
amended by adding Subsection 16.5 to read:
