Recommended motion:
01.
That the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and the City Clerk are
authorized to proceed with the proposed vacation of a portion of a Public
utility Easement over the Easterly 15 feet of the 60 foot wide Southern
California. Edison Easement in vacated Chestnut Avenue between lrvington
Avenue and Ohio Avenue.

STAFF REPORT
A request was received from Dan Holden of Monnig Development to vacate the
Easterly 15 feet of the 60 foot wide Southern California Edison Easement lying
over the entire width of the previously vacated Chestnut .Avenue between lrvington
Avenue and Ohio Avenue. The City of San Bernardino and other public entities
retained easements over the Westerly 45 feet only. Vacating the Easterly 15 feet
of the Edison Easement will encumber only the Westerly 45 feet of the vacated
Chestnut Avenue. Southern California Edison has no objections to this vacation.
The petitioner has deposited the required $375.00. which represents one-half of
the total fee of $750.00. The remaining $375.00 will be due after the
investigative proceedings.
