STAFF REPORT
On February 6, 1990, the Mayor and Common Council initiated proceedings
improvement of Palm Avenue, Chestnut Drain and installation of traffic
and box culvert at Palm Avenue and Kendall Drive under the provisions of

On May 15, 1990, the firm of GFB-Friedrich & Assoc. were brought on board to
perform the necessary Assessment Engineering for the project.
Due to unforeseen changes ~ the construction during the plan preparation, the
necessary modifications to the preliminary assessment roll and the added
.requirement for preparation of a Dept Limitation Report, the estimated costs for
the services were greatly expanded and were not covered in the original estimate
through no fault of the Engineer. This is a large district and any change
involving any costs or additional information requires many hours of
investigation and calculation.
It is therefore recommended that the First Amendment to the Agreement be approved
and the Resolution adopted.

This resolution is rescinded if the parties to tbe First
Amendment to an Agreement for Professional Services fail to execute iT within
sixty (60) days of the passage of this resollltion.
