STAFF REPORT
When the Verdemont Area Infrastructure Fee was adopted
various time requirements were imposed at which the fee was
required to be paid. At least one developer as indicated that
since his subdivision had been approved when the ordinance was
established they were unable to properly include the necessary
fees in the loan budget for financing purposes. The attached
ordinance will allow in such situations for the payment of the
fee to be made at the close of escrow for each individual lot.
This will not affect any other situations.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
15.73.060 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE
TIME FOR PAYMENT OF THE VERDEMONT AREA INFRASTRUCTURE FEE.

4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
Subsection (d) is hereby added to Section

15.73.060 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code to read as
follows:

"(d) Notwithstanding anything in this Section to the
contrary, for any subdivision for which a final map
has been approved prior to the effective date of this
Chapter the fee established pursuant to Section
15.73.050 may be paid at the close of escrow on each
individual lot, unless a later time is allowed by this
chapter."
