STAFF REPORT
Subject:
Initiation of a general plan amendment for a
site located at the northwest corner of 8th
Street and Arrowhead Avenue.
Mayor and Common Council meeting of November
5, 1990
During the land use hearings for the adoption of the General
Plan, the site was designated RM, Residential Medium which
permits mUlti-family uses at a density of 9.1 to 14 units per
net acre (See attached). The subject property contains a
commercial office building that is now a nonconforming
structure and use.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and Common Council direct the
Planning Division to initiate a general plan amendment for
the northwest corner of 8th Street and Arrowhead Avenue.
