STAFF REPORT
Mr. Vernon Lee, owner of the building on the northwest
corner of 20th Street and Arrowhead Avenue, requested the
Traffic Engineering Section to restrict parking in front of his
property to 2 hours.
The owner justified his request by the increased long-
term parking demand by employees of nearby businesses, which
consequently reduces the availability of on-street parking in
front of his building. An investigation conducted by the
Traffic Engineering staff confirmed Mr. Lee I s complaints and
staff concurred with his request. Staff recommends that a 2-
Hour parking restriction be established on the north side of
Twentieth Street between Arrowhead Avenue and 200 feet west of
Arrowhead Avenue.
Since the tenants of the building concur with the
owner's request, the parking restriction will not adversely
affect the parking demand in the area.
We recommend that the parking restriction be approved.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 8234 ENTITLED, IN PART, "A RESOLUTION.
. ESTABLISHING PARKING TIME LIMITATIONS UPON CERTAIN DESIGNATED
STREETS OR ALLEYS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF. . "; AND AUTHORIZING THE
IMPLEMENTATION OF A TWO-HOUR PARKING LIMITATION ON TWENTIETH
STREET BETWEEN ARROWHEAD AVENUE AND 200 FEET WEST OF ARROWHEAD
AVENUE, APPLICABLE TO THE NORTH SIDE ONLY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 8234, Section One, Subsection
(45) TWENTIETH STREET, is amended to read:
"(45) TWENTIETH STREET
(a) Between 'E' Street and 'D' Street
(b) Between Arrowhead Avenue and 200 feet west of
Arrowhead Avenue, applicable to the north side only."
