STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division received a request to install a
two-way stop at the intersection of Kingman Street and Cabrera
Avenue.
Result of Traffic Engineering study indicated that there
is sufficient justification for the installation of stop signs
on the Cabrera Avenue approach to the intersection.
At their September 12, 1990, meeting the Traffic Safety
Commi ttee concurred with staff's findings and recommendation.
The Committee voted in favor of installing stop signs at the
Cabrera Avenue approaches to the intersection of Cabrera Avenue
and Kingman Avenue.
Staff recommends that the resolution be approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 655 ENTITLED, IN PART, "A RESOLUTION.
3 .DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS OR PORTIONS THEREOF AS THROUGH
HIGHWAYS. . "; AND PROVIDING THAT KINGMAN STREET IS A THROUGH
4 HIGHWAY AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH CABRERA AVENUE.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: Resolution No. 655, which designates certain
streets or portions thereof as through highways, Section 1, is
amended by adding Subsection 8.8 to read:
"8.8 KINGMAN STREET
at its intersection with Cabrera Avenue."
