STAFF REPORT
The City received a request from Southern California Edison for a Grant of
Easement over City-owned property located on the South side of 5th Street, East
of Gardena Street (portion of Nunez Park, 1701 East 5th Street)
This easement is needed by the Edison company in order to construct and install
improvements to the lighting system for the ballpark at Nunez Park. The new
transformer will be set above ground with all wires being underground.

RESOLuTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY. A CORPORATION. OVER CITY-OWNED PROPERlY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 5TH STREET. EAST OF GARDENA (A PORTION OF NUNEZ
PARK).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
8 Bernardino hereby execute a Grant of Easement to Southern California
9 Edison Company, a corporation. for transmission of electrical energy and
10 appurtenant facilities.
11 SECTION 2. That said Grant of Easement referred to herein. a
12 copy of which is attached hereto. marked Exhibit "A", and is hereby referred
13 to and made a part hereof as fully as though set out at length herein. is
14 hereby approved.
15 SECTION 3.
That the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute said Grant of Easement on behalf
17 of the City of San Bernardino.
