The proposed purchase is for cold planning work on various streets, City
wide, to be utilized by the Public Services/Street Department.
At the request of the department, appropriate specifications were
prepared, published and furnished ot area suppliers. Bids were publicly
opened and declared on August 28, 1990. The following is a summary of
Bids received.

Services/Street who concurs that the bid of Pavement Recycling Systems
Inc meets specifications and requirements. It is therefore recommended
that the Bid be accepted for contract. the equipment funding is in the
1990/91 budget.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A PURCHASE ORDER TO
PAVEMENT RECYCLING SYSTEMS INC. FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF COLD
PLANNING WORK ON VARIOUS STREETS, CITY WIDE, TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC
SERVICES/STREET DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-91-05.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIDN 1. That Pavement Recycling Systems Inc. is the lowest and best
responsible bidder for the furnishin9 and delivery of cold planning work on
various streets, City wide, in accordance with Bid Specification F-91-05 for
the total amount of $71,503.98; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing
Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said
cold planning work on various streets, City wide to said lowest and best
responsible bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a
Purchase Order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other quotations therefor are
hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the fore90ing resolution was duly adopted by
